Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join a SNF in Pahokee, Florida on a full-time basis. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current state license, CCC from ASHA, and 1–2 years of SNF experience.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
CCC (ASHA) certification.
1–2 years of SNF experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists for coordinated care.
Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech language pathology.
