Job summary

Prosper Health & Rehab is seeking a Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida to evaluate residents, develop and implement therapy plans, and coordinate with physicians. The role emphasizes compassionate care and collaboration within a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

The candidate should have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility, and current state licensure. Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening is required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and treat speech-language disorders.
• Evaluate speech-language abilities across educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
• Plan and direct rehabilitative treatment to restore communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents/patients referred by physicians and develop a treatment program with goals.
• Provide therapy as ordered; interpret and adjust treatment per physician’s plan.
• Communicate with physicians regarding progress and required changes.
• Instruct and supervise residents, patients, and families on speech therapy procedures.
