Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join a SNF in Pahokee, Florida on a full-time basis. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, and will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a current state license, CCC from ASHA, and 1–2 years of SNF experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• CCC (ASHA) certification.
• 1–2 years of SNF experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
• Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists for coordinated care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech language pathology.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
