Job summary

This is a Full Time SNF Speech-Language Pathologist position in Dothan, Alabama. You will provide quality evaluations and treatments for communication and swallowing disorders and work under the Clinical Director in the SNF setting.

Responsibilities include screening and treating speech, language, and dysphagia disorders, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with staff and families to optimize patient care. Alabama licensure and CCC‑SLP certification required.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree with CCC-SLP and Alabama State License.

Responsibilities

• Screening, identifying, assessing and interpreting, diagnosing, and rehabilitating speech and language disorders.
• Provide quality speech and dysphagia evaluations and treatments to patients in SNF settings.
• Supervise programs and services related to communication disorders under Clinical Director guidance.
• Counsel patients, families and caregivers regarding communication disorders and management.
