Extendicare in Dothan, Alabama is seeking a 2026 Graduate Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time Clinical Fellowship in a SNF setting. You will evaluate and treat speech and swallowing disorders, work under the Clinical Director, and participate in department operations.
Requirements include a Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, and Alabama State License. Preference for CF year completion or supervision by a CCC-SLP.

The Staff Speech-Language Pathologist shall provide quality speech/dysphagia evaluations and treatments to patients with communication and/or swallowing deficits, and participate in the departmental operations as assigned by the Clinical Director.
Communication and hearing skills which allow for evaluation and treatment of speech/language disorders.
Master's or doctoral degree, the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Alabama State License.
Preferred completion of clinical fellowship year or will be supervised by a speech pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
COVID vaccination is preferred for this position. However, an exemption will be entertained.
Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Speech Pathologist provides treatment only on written prescription of a licensed physician.
