Job summary

Theracare, located in Indiana, seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our skilled nursing and home health team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders across facilities and home health settings, following physician orders and evidence-based protocols.

This role offers a flexible schedule, collaborative team environment, and opportunities to impact patient outcomes in SNFs, outpatient facilities, long-term care, and home health

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current state license/certification required.
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in Speech Therapy.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with physician orders, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders.
• Work as a member of a team providing support and information within Speech/Language Pathology.
• Provide therapy services in locations including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

The Speech/Language Pathologist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current state license/certification
