Job summary

Theracare in Indiana is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to evaluate and treat patients across Skilled Nursing Facilities, home health care and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will work as part of a therapy team and provide services in multiple locations, including SNFs and long-term care facilities.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Current state license/certification required.
• Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing.
• Work as part of a therapy team across multiple care settings.
• Provide therapy in SNFs, outpatient, long-term care or home health care.
• Adhere to accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

The Speech/Language Pathologist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current state license/certification
• Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care
• Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
