Theracare in Indiana is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to join our dedicated therapy team serving skilled nursing facilities, outpatient and home health settings. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, has excellent communication skills, and is willing to provide

Formación

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.
  • Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsabilidades

Qualifications

The Speech/Language Pathologist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care

Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline

Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
