Job summary

Theracare in Indiana seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN) to evaluate and treat patients across skilled nursing facilities, outpatient, long-term care, and home health settings. You will join a dedicated therapy team and collaborate with regional management for support.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Prefer minimum one year experience in rehabilitation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to provide therapy services in multiple locations (SNF, outpatient, long-term care or home health).
  • Demonstrate competency in applying therapy principles, methods and equipment.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders.
  • Provide therapy services in locations including SNFs, outpatient facilities, long-term care facilities or home health care.
  • Work as a member of a dedicated therapy team with support from regional management.
  • Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in speech-language pathology.
  • Maintain knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

The Speech/Language Pathologist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with orders from the physician, through the use of therapeutic procedures designed to improve speech, language, swallowing and hearing disorders to overcome disabilities from a variety of causes. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Speech/Language Pathology. The Speech/Language Pathologist will provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care.

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology

Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to provide therapy services in locations including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Outpatient Facilities, Long Term Care Facilities or Home Health Care

Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline

Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
