Job summary

Avante at Ocala Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide and direct services, including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, documentation, and communication under physicians' orders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for SLP.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to residents.
• Assess residents with communications and swallowing disorders.
• Design and implement appropriate treatment plans and document daily care.
• Communicate results and collaborate with physicians.

Education and Experience:

• · Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• · Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for S.L.P.
• · Current state licensure or license eligible.
• · 0-3 years of long term care experience.
