Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Speech Language Pathology (SLP) position at Far Rockaway Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Far Rockaway, NY. Our team provides rehab services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

The role involves evaluating residents, developing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes, with flexible evening and weekend hours and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program
• Current New York SLP license

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on initial evaluations, treatment, progress and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support resident care.

Roles and expectations of a great therapist include:
