Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is hiring a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. The role offers mentorship, clinical support, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP license.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations & examinations to diagnose residents & develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess the progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliant information handling.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship with healthcare team members and support team goals.
