Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Bronx, NY facility. The role involves conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress in a state-of-the-art rehab setting alongside physical, occupational, and speech therapists.

New York State SLP licensure is required. We welcome new graduates and offer mentorship, CEU reimbursement, and flexible per diem scheduling with regular client-centered care in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program required.
• Current New York State SLP license required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliant information handling.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support resident care.
