Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at the Bronx Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bronx, New York. The SLP will evaluate, treat, and document therapy services for residents in a state-of-the-art rehab setting.

We offer mentorship, weekly paychecks, flexible schedules, and opportunities to grow with a supportive rehabilitation team. New grads welcome and training provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current New York State SLP License.

Responsibilities

• Administer Speech Therapy evaluations and examinations to diagnose residents and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
• Observe and assess the progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with laws and standards.
• Contribute to a cooperative team environment and patient care quality.
