Woodland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Float to join our therapy team in Cullman, Alabama. The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and dysphagia management in a supportive healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will hold an SLP Master’s degree with Alabama ASHA CCC certification and bring 2+ years of skilled nursing experience, emphasizing geriatric care and collaborative

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active ASHA CCC certification in Alabama.
• 2+ years experience in skilled nursing or similar setting preferred.
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Passion for geriatric care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care
