Job summary

Columns Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Jonesville, LA, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. You will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognition, and swallowing, delivering patient-centered care in a supportive environment.

The position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with Louisiana SLP certification (ASHA CCC preferred) and 2+ years in a skilled nursing or similar setting. We emphasize geriatric care and collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• Current SLP with ASHA CCC certification in Louisiana.
• 2+ years in skilled nursing or similar setting (preferred).
• Expertise in dysphagia management and cognitive rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Specialize in dysphagia management and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in patient care.
