Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, in Tampa, FL, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our acute care team. This full-time role focuses on evaluating and treating speech, language and swallowing disorders across the rehab continuum.

You will collaborate with physicians and therapists, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, and educate families. Florida licensure and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited) or eligible under ASHA requirements.
• Current Florida license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in acute or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about therapy goals and progress.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of a master's level program in Speech Language Pathology which is accredited by Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements
• Experience working in acute or rehab setting
• Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Florida
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
