Job summary

Monterey Palms Healthcare Center in California is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The role offers a salary range of $104,000–$135,200 annually with a sign-on bonus and both full- or part-time opportunities. The clinic provides medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus 401K and PTO.

The SLP will screen residents, develop and implement care plans, administer tests, and assist with swallow techniques while ensuring patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with policy and regulations.

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Entry Qualifications and Skills:
