Job summary

Countryside Care Center in Macomb, IL is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. You’ll evaluate and treat residents to restore communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities in a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

The role emphasizes evidence-based therapy, teamwork with physicians, nurses, PTs and OTs, thorough documentation, and opportunities for clinical autonomy and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Active IL Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills are essential.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
• Design individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Monitor resident progress and update treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, PTs, OTs, and families for coordinated care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.

$38–$42/hour

Countryside Care Center is looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. You'll play a key role in helping residents regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while working in a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
• Design individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, communication, cognition, and dysphagia
