Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation at North Kansas City Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role in our acute rehab unit. You will assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.

A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license with ASHA certification, CPR, and rehab/acute care experience are required or preferred, with opportunities for professional growth.

• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.

• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

More about our team: North Kansas City Hospital is 48-bed Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) located in NKC Health Main Hospital Building. Our Unit is a very fast paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow! We have an amazing team with over 25 FT therapists!
