Job summary

North Kansas City Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for Occupational Therapy. This full-time, days-shift role involves 40 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays, serving an acute rehab unit in a fast-paced interdisciplinary setting.

The incumbent will provide therapy services, engage in assessment and treatment planning, and contribute to program development while upholding Lifepoint Health CORE values across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• Current license to practice.
• Experience with adult/geriatric populations preferred.
• Computer and current technology competence.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement.
• Carry out responsibilities across multiple facilities in accordance with CORE values.

North Kansas City Hospital is 48-bed Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) located in NKC Health Main Hospital Building. Our Unit is a very fast paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow! We have an amazing team with over 25 FT therapists!

Qualifications

The incumbent shall be a graduate of a program in his/her professional discipline and shall hold an applicable and current license to practice.

Experience working with an adult and geriatric population is preferred.

Experience serving people with physical disabilities is preferred. Computer and current technology competence.

Summary Statement

The incumbent shall be responsible for providing therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the discipline's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

The incumbent shall also be accountable for and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.

The incumbent shall be accountable for carrying out all responsibilities in accordance with Kindred Healthcare CORE values. This position will cover multiple facilities.
