Job summary

North Kansas City Hospital, part of Lifepoint Rehabilitation, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for PRN, varied shifts in a fast-paced Acute Rehab Unit. You will work with a large, experienced team to deliver patient-centered care and help patients regain communication and swallowing abilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current SLP license and ASHA certification.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
