Job summary

North Kansas City Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join Lifepoint Rehabilitation. This full-time role provides assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with a care team in a fast-paced ARU environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

More about our team: North Kansas City Hospital is 48-bed Acute Rehab Unit (ARU) located in NKC Health Main Hospital Building. Our Unit is a very fast paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow! We have an amazing team with over 25 FT therapists!
