Job summary

Stadium Place Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team. This PRN/part-time role focuses on direct patient care within a compassionate, resident-centered environment in Baltimore, MD.

The administrator promotes professional growth, open communication, and a supportive culture for staff and residents. Qualified candidates hold a valid SLP license for the state, preferably with experience in long-term or geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SLP license in the state of practice.
• Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer treatment programs aligned with physician direction.
• Document patient status and educate patients and families in therapy methods.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.

We are looking for SLPs who are dependable, self-motivated team players. SLPs are the eyes and ears for our Residents and play a very important role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.

• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.

• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.

• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.

• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred
