Palms Nursing Center is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver comprehensive Speech-Language Pathology services to residents in our skilled nursing facility. The role includes assessment, treatment plan development, and implementing therapy plans tailored to dysphagia, cognition, and communication deficits.
The ideal candidate will join a welcoming therapy team and contribute to program development and performance improvement efforts, while collaborating closely with the Director of Rehab.
The Speech Pathologist provides Speech Pathology Services to patients referred, including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation. Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) play an important role in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). SLPs assess and treat patients with a wide variety of deficits, including, but not limited to, dysphagia, cognition, speech and/or communication difficulties. The Speech Pathologist assists with clinical aspects of the department, including program development and Performance Improvement activities. Works closely with the Director of Rehab and the tight knit therapy family!
