Job summary

Position: P-Speech Language Pathologist

Salary Range: $44/hr-$55/hr

Schedule: 35 hours per week, including weekends - open to flexible schedule

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a SNF center. As a P-Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' speech and language abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on patients' needs and abilities
  • Provide therapy sessions to individuals and groups to improve speech, language, and communication skills
  • Utilize a variety of techniques and tools to help patients with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and managing speech and language disorders
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field and participate in continuing education opportunities
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a SNF setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends and a willingness to adjust schedule as needed
