Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct speech therapy care to patients under physician referral. New grads are welcome. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requires MS/MA in SLP, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure. CPR certification must be current. Primary responsibilities include meeting patient goals, coordinating with families and care teams, and maintaining charted progress.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology required or equivalent.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, then CCCs after credentialing.
• Currently licensed in the applicable state; active license.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaise with patients, families and departments to plan patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with colleagues and vendors.
• Implement and follow department goals, policies and procedures.
• Work on competency areas including patient rights, safety and sanitation.
• Communicate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
