Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehab care in speech therapy for patients referred by physicians.

New grads welcome to apply; a $3000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements include MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and a current Tennessee license. CPR certification is required; MS Word/Excel knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or must be eligible for CFY and earning CCCs.
• Active state license in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification by hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify goals for patient care.
• Oversee and evaluate CFYs when applicable.
• Follow treatment plans under supervising SLP CCC.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team to plan patient needs.
