Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist in New Bedford, MA to provide direct speech therapy under physician referral and in full compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements include a MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, active state licensure, CPR certification, and at least 0–1 year of experience. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility and ongoing credentialing.
• Active state license; maintain license.
• CPR certification required or obtained on hire.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
• Liaises with patients, families and departments to plan care
• Implement and interpret department programs, goals, and procedures
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality
• Communicate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
