Job summary

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a Full Time position (Monday – Friday). The role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.

Applicants must hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with 2–3 years of acute care experience and BLS certification. This not-for-profit hospital emphasizes personalized care and community service.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in acute care speech-language pathology, barium swallow studies, and speech/swallowing evaluations.
• BLS, required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in a clinical environment.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an acute care setting.
• Maintain department QI program and participate in hospital initiatives.
