Job summary

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, Monday–Friday position in Missouri. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and 2–3 years of acute care experience with swallowing evaluations. BLS certification is required. You will join a community-focused hospital delivering personalized care, working with a collaborative team to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 2-3 years’ experience in acute care speech-language pathology, barium swallow studies, and speech/swallowing evaluations.
• BLS, required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat speech, language and swallowing disorders.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Work as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Maintain department QI program and statistics and participate in hospital initiatives.
• Provide speech therapy modalities to all age groups, pediatric through geriatrics.
• Investigate and report concerns timely and inform Chief Nursing Officer.

What to expect as a Speech Pathologist:
