Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. This Critical Access hospital focuses on personalized care and serves a close-knit community with a 25-bed facility.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across age groups from pediatric to geriatric. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain quality improvement activities, and

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 2–3 years of acute care experience in speech-language pathology.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively.

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team.

Speech Language Pathologist – Full Time (Monday – Friday)

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO, that focuses on personalized care. What To Expect As a Speech Pathologist

• Communicate effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service and have consistent professional etiquette.
• Assess, diagnosis, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Work as part of a collaborative team in a health care setting.
• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services.
• Maintain department QI program and statistics and participates in house wide initiatives.
• Provide speech therapy modalities to all age groups, pediatric through geriatrics.
• Investigates and reports concerns timely and informs Chief Nursing Officer.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• 2 – 3 years’ experience in acute care speech-language pathology, barium swallow studies, and speech/swallowing evaluations.
• BLS, required.
