Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• Current SLP license, in good standing with State licensing board.
• 2+ years of professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses tests and instruments to diagnose impairment and plan care.
• Analyzes speech, language and swallowing irregularities.
• Develops individualized care plans tailored to each patient.
• Selects and teaches communication methods, including sign language and automated devices.
• Improves patients' speech and language ability and ensures nutrition/hydration.
• Writes patient notes and reports; educates families and caregivers.
