Job summary

Mohawk Valley Health System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time day shift to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role includes maintaining records, monitoring progress, and counseling residents and families.

Qualifications include NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or temporary permit) and ASHA CCC, with proficiency in MS Office and Epic EMR. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a college/university accredited by ASHA with a degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients, medical staff and families.
• Proficient with MS Office and Epic EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Speech-Language Pathology evaluation and treatment services.
• Evaluate, assess, plan and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Maintain records and monitor progress; counsel residents and families.
