Arbor Therapy is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide PRN services at our Glendale clinic. This flexible independent contractor opportunity is ideal for a clinician interested in completing evaluations and providing make-up therapy sessions based on client needs and contractor availability.
You will provide compassionate, evidence-based services to children and young adults with a variety of communication, feeding, and developmental needs. We are especially interested in clinicians with experience in pediatrics, early intervention, developmental disabilities, feeding disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.

PRN Services May Include
- Completing comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Interpreting assessment results and developing appropriate plans of care
- Providing make-up or supplemental therapy sessions
- Developing individualized, evidence-based treatment recommendations
- Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Communicating recommendations and progress to families and caregivers
- Collaborating with members of the client's care team, as appropriate
- Maintaining compliance with applicable payer, licensing, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
- Minimum of two years of pediatric clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for pediatric clients
- Experience supporting children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, speech sound disorders, language disorders, and related diagnoses
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one before providing services
- Current Article 9 certification or ability to obtain it before providing services
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it before providing services
- Professional liability insurance meeting Arbor Therapy's requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to complete accurate documentation within required timeframes
- Ability to satisfy all applicable background-check and credentialing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology through ASHA
- Experience with pediatric feeding assessment and intervention
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication assessment and intervention
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
Independent Contractor Expectations
The selected contractor will be responsible for:
- Maintaining all required professional licenses, certifications, and continuing education
- Maintaining professional liability insurance that meets Arbor Therapy's requirements
- Remaining eligible to provide services as an independent contractor under applicable state and federal requirements
- Coordinating availability for services during clinic operating hours
- Meeting applicable company, state, payer, and regulatory documentation requirements
This PRN opportunity does not guarantee a minimum number of referrals, evaluations, sessions, or hours. Available services will depend on clinic and client needs, as well as the contractor's availability.
