Job summary

Winchester Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with a multidisciplinary team to support PK-12 students. The role includes direct intervention per IEPs, assessment, and collaboration with administrators, staff, and parents.

The SLP will supervise SLPAs, participate in program planning, and contribute to student learning by providing consultation and targeted interventions. This is a full-time, on-site position in California.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Teaching Certificate 061 or the ability to qualify with endorsements.
• Certificate in Speech and Hearing from the State of Connecticut and licensed per guidelines.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Must pass federal and local background checks.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must complete all pre-employment requirements before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and interpretation of student learning needs.
• Assist in planning, developing, and evaluating programs for students' learning needs.
• Provide direct intervention via IEPs through individual or small-group instruction.
• Provide consultation to administrators, staff, and parents.
• Supervise SLPAs.
