Job summary

LionStone Care is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in care settings in Paulding, OH. The per diem position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a current SLP license; ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred.

You will develop personalized treatment plans, provide targeted therapy, and educate patients and families while documenting progress in the EHR and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist license; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• New graduates welcome; previous healthcare or rehab experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Develop diagnostic reports and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans for aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, cognitive-linguistic impairments, and dysphagia.
• Provide therapy including speech-language exercises, cognitive-linguistic retraining, and swallowing techniques.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
