Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Alleghany Health & Rehab in Clifton Forge, VA. This part-time daytime role requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, a current SLP license, and CCC-SLP certification.

Prior experience is preferred, with opportunities to evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The role emphasizes patient and family education, progress documentation, and ongoing plan adjustments based on outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current, unencumbered state SLP license is required; CCC-SLP certification required.
• 1 year of experience as an SLP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and develops individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Documents patient progress and adjusts treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
• Educates patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing safety.

Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Current, unencumbered state SLP License; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• 1 year of previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred
• Evaluates and develops individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Documents patient progress and adjusts treatment plans based on clinical outcomes
• Educates patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing safety
