Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Elmira, NY is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for full-time work in outpatient and inpatient settings. You’ll evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and provide direct therapy across pediatric and adult populations.

We value collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, education of patients and families, and ongoing professional development. Eligible for NY licensure and CCC eligibility, with BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain.
• One to two years of hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification (required within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans based on physician orders.
• Provide direct therapy to pediatric and adult patients in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and techniques.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with policy.
• Participate in departmental initiatives, in-service training, and continuing education.
• Contribute to development of innovative speech therapy programs and services.
• Possible float to other nearby center
