Job summary

The Life Care Center of South Las Vegas is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehabilitation in speech therapy for patients under physician referrals, in compliance with Life Care standards.

Required is an MS or MA in SLP and active state licensure, with ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility; new grads are welcome. CPR certification is required. The role involves collaboration with physicians, families, and an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCCs or eligible CFY for certification pathway.
• Active state licensure with good standing.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable goals.
• Oversee CFYs for SLP CCCs when applicable.
• Follow speech therapy treatment plans under supervision.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Communicate and collaborate on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards.
