Job summary

Rehabilitation Hospital of Kingsport, a joint venture of Ballad Health and Encompass Health, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer personalized therapy plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in Kingsport, Tennessee.

The role requires CCC, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and a master's degree preferred; monthly weekend commitments are noted. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team in a leading inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.
• Position requires monthly weekend commitments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
