Job summary

Encompass Health is hiring a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, implement, and adjust individualized speech and language therapy for patients. You will document progress, tailor treatment, and celebrate patient milestones in a supportive inpatient setting.

The role requires current licensure, CCC certification, and CPR either at hire or within 30 days. A Master’s degree is preferred, or Bachelor’s with relevant experience. Join a nationwide leader in rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required (Certification of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
