Qualifications

• Master's degree in communication disorders from an accredited college or university and pass a national exam in speech-language pathology.
• Valid Texas license in speech-pathology.
• Texas Education Agency certification in accordance with applicable statutes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Full Individual Evaluations as part of the multi-disciplinary evaluation team.
• Develop and implement Individual Educational Plans for students with speech impairments.
• Translate appraisal data into an instructional relevant speech and language program.
• Provide services in an inclusive setting and coordinate intervention with general education staff.
• Plan schedule and implement all direct and/or indirect service as needed.
• Attend staffings and participate in ARD meetings as needed.
• Supervise licensed assistants and interns in speech-language pathology.
