Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages. You will conduct evaluations, design therapy plans, and educate patients and families, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team.

Licensed SLP in state required; CCC-SLP preferred or mandatory within one year; BLS may be required at some sites. Mercy Health offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of current practice (required)
• CCC-SLP certification preferred or required within one year of hire
• BLS Basic Life Support required or preferred depending on site

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient conditions, and histories to determine therapy needs
• Conduct evaluations and discharge plans based on clinical assessments
• Administer SLP treatments tailored to patient needs
• Design rehab programs addressing language, voice, fluency, swallowing, memory and cognition
• Educate patients and families on home-based procedures
• Collaborate with care team and participate in patient care conferences
