Qualifications

• Licensed as Speech Language Pathologist in the practicing state.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification either upon hire or within 30 days depending on site.
• Experience in an equivalent clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals, patient history to determine therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations and develop discharge plans based on assessments.
• Administer prescribed speech-language therapies tailored to patient needs.
• Design rehabilitation programs for language, voice, fluency, swallowing, cognition.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers for home continuation; participate in rounds.
