Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in Montclair, NJ is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our ALF/Memory Care team on a per-diem basis. The role focuses on evaluating patients, developing creative treatment plans, and delivering skilled speech therapy services in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Jersey or eligible.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
