Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for per diem homecare in the Long Beach area. You will have autonomy over your own caseload and flexible hours, selecting cases at your convenience.

The role requires NY licensure (or eligibility) and CCC‑SLP certification, with First Aid/AED/CPR live-course certifications. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and Home Health Aides to implement therapy

• Compensation: USD 65 - USD 65 - hourly

What we are looking for:

Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a per diem employee to pick up cases at your convenience within Long Beach area. You will have full autonomy over your own caseload and can choose your own hours.

Metro is looking for a motivated, compassionate, forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative but effective treatment plans. We’re looking for flexible and all-in teammates who are excited by the opportunity to take on emerging challenges.

• Pay rate: $65/hour
• Schedule: Flexible! You will have full autonomy over your caseload.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP)
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
