Job summary

The Life Care Center of South Shore in Scituate, MA is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct speech therapy to patients under physician referral. You will work within Life Care standards and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting patient goals.

Qualifications include an MS/MA in SLP, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, MA licensure, CPR certification, and a minimum of 1 year experience preferred. New grads are welcome to apply and pursue continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP).
• ASHA certified (CCC) OR eligible for CFY to earn CCCs and maintain credential.
• Currently licensed in Massachusetts with active status.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire and during employment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and support departments to plan for needs.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics at all times.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledgeable of post-acute care laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Implements and interprets department programs, goals, and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary information.
