Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents in accordance with established care plans. The role includes administering specialized tests and developing swallow techniques while maintaining patient confidentiality.

The position offers a sign-on bonus with benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance and a 401K. California licensure and CPP certification are required or preferred with clinical experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• California state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
