Job summary

Creekside Healthcare Center in California is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to screen, evaluate, and treat residents under an established plan of care. The role requires a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and a current California license to practice.

One year of clinical experience is preferred. A sign-on bonus is available and PTO and referral bonuses are included as benefits.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Certification in Clinical Competency is required.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.
• One year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Education

Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology
